Review report:
Negatives: whatever entity that is in the game never appeared, not scary, confusing on how to proceed in the game
Positives: very scary, not having jumpscares seemed to work out, audio was superb
Gameplay
Waiting in too long causes screen and world to distort
Must check watch every half minute to avoid insanity
Music
No music, just the droning sound from the overhead lights
I feel like that makes it scarier. Every sound from then on is hyper-focused (even a footstep out of place would be effective)
Sounds
More sfx come in, distorted voice, ambient falling noise
Art
Some areas are lit, others are not (afraid of what might be lurking in the dark
UI
Watch to track your sanity
Scare Factor
One of the scariest parts is what the game tells you
‘Stay alive’, ‘don’t look at it’, look at what??
From a review: Instead, it works off of a weird mix of anxiety and sensory deprivation. Due to the monotone nature of the visuals and audio, anything that's even slightly out of the norm will unerve you. Any tiny sound, and minescule detail (like a random, rare outlet on a wall, or an out-of-place cieling panel) will push you that little bit further towards insanity.
Overall
Played for a very short duration because game scared me, very good at building tension in the atmosphere and wondering when ‘the thing’ will come
